Jupiter 3-27-04
3 Shadows and a Moon

During the night of 3-27-04 into the early morning of 3-28-04, a relatively rare event happened on Jupiter.  Three of Jupiter's moons were in position to cast shadows on the planet at the same time. The following images show the sequence of events that night.  Unfortunately, the seeing got steadily worse during the event.  As a consequence, some of the images are less detailed than others.

I only got 1 short video showing all of the moon shadows and Ganymede on the planet at the same time.  Unfortunately, this happened during the worst seeing of the night.
