Unknown to me at the time, minor planet 1416 Renauxa was moving through the frame
while the image data was being gathered. Although the asteroid was digitally removed
from this still image, an animation showing the
asteroid's movement (3.88 megabytes) is available. There is a gap in the middle
of the animation because I stopped imaging to allow some clouds to roll through. |
