Caught on the evening of 7-5-03 to 7-6-03   moving through
M8 - The Lagoon Nebula.

There is also an animation showing  movement over a 1.5 hour period. 
I shot three exposures of the nebula that evening not knowing the asteroid
was passing through. Unfortunately the exposures were different lengths
and shot on two different  types of film so the background is a little uneven.
Still pretty cool though!
